They're going to grow out of it anyway!

If you and your kids haven't driven each other nuts by now - you're definitely in a silent minority.  It seems like every working parent is under some new and extreme pressures as not only has school not been in session since March in most places.  But seemingly not going to reopen for the rest of the calendar year and potentially through 2021.  What does this mean?  Is there an entire generation of kids that will grow up that are intellectually stunted by the virus [indirectly]?

Not at all -  in fact it may be the opposite.  I think there is a major point worth thinking about during this shutdown that if we all have not realized, we should and begin discussing immediately for the benefit of our young ones.

There is an implicit admission that in classroom education is not all that its cracked up to be.  It's obvious that there is a social component to school in addition to the educational part.  But take the social environment out of it, how easily can the educational part be replaced?  New products (admittedly like our products too) have been flooding the market because they're betting that the writing on the wall is that long format, in classroom, rigid education systems have had they're heyday and now it is transitioning into some kind of digital, hybrid system.   As improvements get made here, and social interaction is replaced by clubs, play dates and other types of sports teams, activities and camps - this new presumed system offers a lot of benefits and in some ways PROMOTES a more open, rounded and child centric education format that in classroom.  While policy makers are protesting this transition - its worth thinking about .. really thinking about..  do you want your child to go back to a traditional classroom setting.
